Described as one of the Tri-State’s “most intriguing and musically literate” bands by local music critic Tommy Ellis, Corduroy Orbison thrives on performing live for music-loving audiences.
For five years, the four-piece Evansville band has filled regional venues with its high-energy brand of indie rock that combines old school pop, grunge, Americana and sloppy rock ’n’ roll. Now, the band looks ahead at the new live music landscape with a new set of music.
The Front Porch Fest After Party is the unofficial album release party for the band’s newest full-length LP, “Never Again,” which will be released on all digital platforms Friday, Sept. 3.
Hannah Evelyn is a singer-songwriter, genre ignorer out of Evansville, IN. Falling somewhere between indie rock, Americana, and pop rock, her influences span the gamut. The Hannah Evelyn Trio was thrown together at the start of 2020 only to become a solidified powerhouse through the pressure cooker of lockdown.
Former Courier & Press record reviewer Rick Jillson comments, “Hannah Evelyn serves up a potent home brew of folk, americana, and good old-fashioned hook-infused rock that virtually guarantees that the consumer of said concoction will fail all corporate drug tests while succeeding to fall in love with her catchy tales of heartbreak, hope and middle finger salutes. Simply put, this is the antidote to your “I’m tired of all my music” blues.”
