Front Porch Fest

Now in its 8th year

Front Porch Fest was born in Ithaca, NY in 2007 and has quickly spread throughout the nation. Brought to Evansville by Amy Word, Front Porch Fest EVV is now in its 8th year and keeps on growing! Held annually on Labor Day weekend in beautiful and historic Haynie's Corner Arts District, it boasts nearly fifty diverse musicians and groups from the region. Front Porch Fest EVV is free, thanks to generous community sponsors, and is family friendly.

This year, Front Porch Fest EVV gives you two shifts of porch playing-- 3-5:30 and 5:30-8-- so that visitors can enjoy even MORE music! Stroll from porch to porch, or find something you love and stick to it for the entire afternoon-- the choice is yours! During the day, head to the fountain at the heart of Haynie's Corner for some tunes from Evansville Music Academy and food trucks. Make plans to come back on Sunday for our epic After Party from 4-9pm featuring Brandon McCarty, Old Time Boxing and Georgia Funkadelic! Don't miss one of Evansville's most beloved festivals!
